ABOUT THE NEWS HOLE

It's the new award-winning blog* from the cast and crew of the award-winning television news hour** "Countdown with Keith Olbermann."

We heard about this whole "blogosphere" business from Tom DeLay, and came to the immediate realization that we too, "needed to become involved" in it.

So here it is. Covering the big news, the small news, medium-sized and irregular, The News Hole strives to bring everything you love or hate about Countdown to the internets.

Your feedback and hate mail is encouraged.

As far as we're concerned, John W. Cornwell can list Countdown as a reference on his resume anytime.

Yes, American ingenuity. Dreaming up more ways to reduce exercise and thus increase body mass.
Well if it works for Beer, why not Grenades?
The dream is finally coming true.
I see a problem with this that I'm surprised its own inventor hasn't already discovered. When the robot flings the beer into the air, forcing the recipient to catch it as it descends, does this not shake up the can quite a bit? What happens when the can is opened? I would expect a veritable Mt. St. Helens of beer to flow from that one. Also, Keith, please don't get any ideas about using a robot arm like this one to toss your ball of paper at the end of the show. It's much more entertaining when you do it.
that is soooo awesome!!! Homer Simpson needs one!!!! people shouldnt be such war-mongers....it is soo un American!
