I have been fascinated by this story, however, I have this sinking feeling that at the end of the day, Libby is going to receive a pardon. Karl Rove and Cheney will see to it. And it will surprise no one on the planet. I never particulary wanted to see Libby go to jail anyway. It was always Cheney. Too bad.

I celebrate today for a small knowledge of the blantent criminal activity called the Bush adminstration is open for all to see. I have been against Bush since 9-11 holding him responsible to a threat everyone was aware of and cannot understand why anyone else can every support this Facsist leader that makes Nixon look like an Angel. A great day in history that gives me hope that I lost years ago in America?

Sean Hannity & Company are already using what I call "the Al Sharpton defense" - whenever Sharpton is accused of anything, he counters - what you did was so much worse.  Now Sean is aleady foaming at the mouth because Bill Clinton got away with "lying under oath."  By the way, one of his callers accused Patrick Fitzgerald of being in cahoots with Lynne Stewart to try to get Sheik Rahman off - call me crazy, but isn't Sheik Rahman serving a life sentence? The right wing can never take responsibility for their bad deeds - they just say - well, the Democrats are worse.

Libby who daily commuted to the office WITH Cheney, somehow both he and Cheney could NOT recollect chatting on this particular subject...Yeah, right..another inconvenient truth but gratefully, this one got dusted by an ethical prosecuter (who now s being raked over as being a zealot and more and off track...LOL, remember Ken Starr? they same banging Fitz are the same who defended Starrs broad range !!!) Bigger problem is the callous disregard for a CIA agent..no matter SHE SERVED honorably, no matter that even her husband had served honorably as Ambassador . They , the defenders of Libby/Cheney/Bush himself and all their bumbles, bungles and blunderings..they contend it is Wilson who IS THE LIAR...but never admit Wilson was CORRECT, there was NO CONNECTION OF SADDAM AND NIGER YELLOWCAKE. Some today tried once again to claim the British still say there was and that is INCORRECT. The YellowCake story was a fabrication, peddled via Italy that was DISMISSED AS NOT CREDIBLE even befor WIlson took HIS trip. Cheny made an inquiry to the CIA who then sought Wilsons assist as he had connections in Niger. Cheney did NOT send him by HIS OWN ORDER, but it was indeed because Cheney had requested information, so that nonsense that Wilson LIED claiming Cheney had sent him is, well NON-SENSICAL but they all do love to parse words and use language to claim something is or NOT IS as the need arises. It is appalling, and just as appalling is that we will not likely see a full investigation into ALL of this instigationing concerning instigation of the Iraq quagmire. The Dems are culpable too--they failed when they cast those yea votes as they failed in their duties by NOT fully researching the information and try to claim that because it came from the administration, they figured it truthful/factual/actual. THEY FAILED THEIR DUTY and share the blame(other than the few who were wise enough to vote nay). Some truly believed, others were merely trying not to get knocked off their "fence" and get labled a whimp/traitor/unAmerican or whatever in fear that it would cause them to lose their employment, NOT due to concern of this nation nor its citizenry and that IS SHAMEFUL.

bye-bye Scooter, have fun in Leavenworth. Next step should be looking at how the disclosure of a CIA agent's identity during war is not TREASON???

This is an onion and we have just started to peel it. This administration lied to the American people and then they took our country to war on their lies. It's time for a real investigation, the 110th congress needs to find the courage to confront the lies and hold Bush and Cheney both accountable.

The neocons already have it figured out...the appeals will last until Inauguration Day 2009. Bush will pardon Scooter as his last act as President. Both of them will get off scot-free and the rest of us will be left gnashing our teeth. We can only hope that the judge remands him directly to jail on June 5th. That would prove a real problem for Dubya. I'd love to see what he'd do then !

Rose: Shawn Hannity has an excuse for anything that does not go his way and has always used Clinton as a springboard to try and justify this administratrion's failures and incompetence. But pay him no mind. He like his co-hort Ann Coulter know exactly what they are doing. They get attention by attacking and abusing others, and then use the ole interupting tactic so others cannot appropriately respond. Its all a game. But both know, deep down inside and with envy, that neither would be worthy of even walking Clinton's dog.
