Most Likely to Screw Thousands

Posted: Tuesday, May 01, 2007 11:00 PM by Countdown

from TMZ.com

They both went to the same high school, played on the soccer team together, graduated together... and one might argue that each went on to (blank) the country in his own way.

The man on the left is George Tenet, the man on the right... Ron Jeremy.

Wow. Whoever figured this out deserves a raise.
Really? Oh my goodness-that is too funny! Jeremy got his rocks off, while George is off his rocker. Hmmmm, I wonder who gets the best sleep at night? HAH!
george tenet is or was just a lap dog for bush and chenney he should be ashamed of himself what a jerk
Yes, but neither of them did what we did not allow them to do. Who really is to blame here? I myself fought tooth and nail to prevent this war as I am the next one, much as I recommend home schooling and communal living so that my children don’t fall pray to a system that is built against them. When DO WE take responsibility? When DO WE help create a world less vulnerable to wants and weaknesses that exist within all of us? Everyone from ENRON execs to the Chicago police of the early 80s that tortured US citizens to confess to crimes (who were WORSE than terrorists but got off scott free) all played us for what we’ve allowed to happen. We create this system, it’s time we changed it for the better!
Wow...separated at birth or what??? We can only wish Tenet had followed the same career as Jeremy. Fewer people might have gotten, er, well, you know.
Despite any of his various "accomplishments" in the adult film industry, I doubt that any of Mr. Jeremy's co-stars feel nearly as used and violated as America in general does thanks to Mr. Tenet. Maybe next time our president goes looking for a person to lead the most powerful national security organization in the world, they might want to put a person there that doesn't want to turn it into his own little Gestapo.
Ron Jeremy - proving it is better to have a big tool than to be a big tool. George Tenet - proving that he is a big tool working for bigger tools. Did you hear about the frog and amphibian mutations being caused in areas where water is contaminated with synthetic hormones? Someone should check the school's water supply and the White House water as well. It might lead to the end of Bush's tyranny and mutation.
Countdowners Proper, I have seen on Stephanie Miller's show on MSNBC this morning that the head of the OBL unit in Afghanistan has come out and called Tenet a liar over his assertion that we never could have had OBL. He also said that there was an active operation to catch OBL that was ready to launch and it was CANCELED. Could you possibly look into this assertion? If Bush called off an operation to capture an enemy of the state in order to prolong his war for Halliburton profits then that would be direct evidence of treason on part of the Bush-Cheney administration. Direct evidence of treason would be a MUCH better present than a puppy.
At least the people Ron Jeremy (Blanked) knew what was happening to them before hand. We found out about what Tenet did to us after the fact.
When all is said and done and history has made it's judgment on both men, which do you think will be considered the bigger tool?
Wow, for all us conspiracy theorists out here, everything is falling into place when you see the two side-by-side. I made a comment to my husband the other day, that Tenet sounded like a big, stupid jock. You know, the guy who scored a thousand touch-downs, and then called Socrates in class, "So-Crates". Honestly, at least Ron Jeremy is more honest and you know what you're getting. A big, hairy guy who will satisfy and put a big old smile on your face.
Note: At least Ron Jeremy doesn't fake a Conscience later, stating "i didn't really screw them".
I want to applaud you on your insightfulness ! Now put a picture of Monica and Clinton with the headline " They blew the whole damn thing "
Oh! That's a good laugh. I wonder if Tenet ever talks about knowing Ron Jeremy at parties. "Yeah, I know that guy!"
One might argue that the Democrats in congress are … the country in an extreme way, making what Tenant did nothing more than a kiss. All for the sake of power, I don’t believe there is a historical equivalent where a party was willing to and actively participated in the lose of a war just to gain political power.
george tenet was george bush's lap dog,now he wants the country to feel sorry for him?dont think so george
It's unfair to compare the two, Ron Jeremy has a large tool, Tenet is a tool.
I appreciate the humor but I am disappointed in you, Countdown. Leave this kind of stuff for the Limbaughs of the world. Don't lower yourself the that level.
How about a party that was willing to start a war just to gain political power?
Todd, New Orleans, LA - George W. Bush is above nothing; and I personally believe the story. The man is deranged and sick; in addition to so many other names I cannot call him here. Halliburton, Cheney, $$ in "my pocket"? What can we expect from a war criminal, willing to sacrifice the lives of thousands of Americans, betray our military, and cause wholesale social suffering beyond comprehension to "us" in Iraq!! The man is evil; has no conscience, no heart and absolutely no soul!! I hope COUNTDOWN continues in its relentless coverage, in addition to efforts at exposing each and every sordid criminal act of George W. Bush and his Administration.
Ron Jeremy is a personal hero of mine. He is a symbol of possibility to a world of hairy men. To compare him to George Tenet, simply because of a High School connection, is a disservice to the heroes of the hirsute worldwide. For Shame!!!!;)-!<
Please, Scott, don't repeat the Administration line of BS that the Democrats are 'participating' in the loss of a war to gain political advantage...The political advantage has ALREADY been gained as of last November. Democrats are trying to save lives and following the will of the electorate. The longer we remain in Iraq, the more American troops that die, the deeper the hole that the Republicans are digging for themselves. They may be in the minority for 30 years if they don't actually destroy the party for supporting this unwinnable mis-adventure.
I snicker at the comparison. And the wit. Oh, the wit... Are you guys making a master collection of these things for a slow news day or some time Keith is on vacation?
and we didnt even get to have a smoke afterwards --.... ahem.
Don't think so Richard, Unfortunately the approval rating for Congress is a smidge above the Presidents. The bottom line is when 08 rolls around , the people think about terrorism and who is serious about it and who waved the white flag of defeat, Hillary will not be elected. Even with Bill wooing all of the young intern vote, her negatives are too high. I don't believe Obama has the support of his own party - he already stated in the debate that if we are attacked again he would think about retaliation- GOOD ANSWER to the poeple on this blog , but not to the rest of the country. So keep on keeping on and we'll pray for you anyway !
Scott: I beg to differ with you on your theory that the Dems are particpating in the loss of a war in order to gain political advantage or power. In fact, I don't see the Dems doing much of anything except blowing in the wind about some non-binding troop withdrawal time tables and maybe pursuing some benchmarks for the Iraqis in the followup bill to the President after dropping their time tables. It seems to me that the Dems are doing just the opposite of what they need to be doing to gain political power. If they keep up with their spineless and whimpy attempts to make it look like they want this war ended now, their chances of gaining power in 2008 will not be any better than they were in the last election. And correct me if I am wrong, but have I not heard some Dems (and perhaps some Republicans) state we needed to place benchmarks with some consequences on the Iraqis to punish their ineffectiveness and lack of movement towards a stable government and the ability to take over their own security. They want to "punish" the Iraqis. What a hoot. I realize the Iraqis have to one day stand up for themselves but like this country has not already done enough damage to this country and its people to want to punish them even more. No Scott. The republicans, at least this administration have clearly lost the support of the majority of the American people. But the Dems will be losing what little they happened to have gained recently if they don't take up the sword of defiance that the majority of Americans are expecting to end this war either by withdrawal or redeployment. One reason so many here get angry is because of the realization that even though this administration is dead in the water and on its way out, they still somehow are able to hold the Dems by the hair and slap them around now and again because they are just simply better at this game of politics.
Ron Jeremy should get the Medal of Freedom. He deserves it more than Traitor Tenet does.
I am outraged that I am not included in this article. As proven with all of the ladies that accused me of sexual harassment , I have screwed more than these two chumps combined. Name changed so Hillary won't recognize me!!! ha ha
You Countdown bloggers are sick, and I think I love you!
I'm not talking about the approval rating for Congress, James. I am talking about Dems taking over both houses last November and I am talking about further, deeper losses for the GOP unless those with seats at risk begin to realize that continuing to tie their political futures to a delusional leader and a lost cause is not a very smart move.
William, NY, I mean Bill, where you been boy. We're needing you back in the whitehouse like yesterday man. So pack your clothes, bring along your harem if you like and head back to DC. We'll try to have the current residents out before you arrive. And listen Bill, all this stuff about Monica and Whitewater and the like, forget it. We're cool if you're cool. Just stay away from those fast food hamburgers so we can keep you awhile. See you in the oval office bud.
Actually Tenet has screwed many more people than Ron Jeremy ever thought of.He didn't even bother to kiss any of them first either!
My logic is sound. Withdraw from Iraq would create a power vacuum resulting in significant bloodshed as various factions seek to fill that vacuum. The Democrats in congress aggressively seek US withdrawal. Therefore the democrats effectivel seek significant bloodshed in Iraq. QED.
CA regarding the elections in '08. I agree with you the Dems will blow it if they don't show some spine post haste. However NEVER UNDERESTIMATE the Republicans ability to lie and cheat their way to another "victory"
You see William, they didn't include you because you didn't go to school with them. You have a place all your own-it's called bringing up your name and infidelity any time someone wants to make a comparison to the invasion in Iraq. You know, THAT's a fair comparison.
James Columbia. SC - WRONG!! And I don't want YOUR prayers!! It amazes me that people state things with no research, no back up, NOTHING but lies!! In polling done on May 2, 2007, "thirty-five percent (35%) of American adults "Approve" of the way that George W. Bush is performing his duties as President. Sixty percent (60%) Disapprove of his performance. These figures include ONLY 18% of Americans who strongly approve of Bush’s performance and 43% who strongly disapprove. Polling also reports Congress' approval rating stands at 44%, with 54 percent disapproving. This marks the HIGHEST level support for the Congress in close to four years and it is 11 points higher than the President's approval rating. More importantly, however, Democrats in Congress have an approval rating of 54 percent positive, 44 percent negative, the best numbers the party has put up since Rasmussen, ABC and "The Post" began asking the questions in 1994 -- and BETTER than the Republicans have EVER received during that same time period. Currently, the Congressional Republicans come in with an approval rating of just 39 percent, up from recent polling but still much worse than the Democrats' rating." In addition, "the number of people identifying themselves as Republicans has fallen to a NEW LOW!! A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of 15,000 adults in April found that just 31.0% now say they belong to the Grand Old Party. That’s down from 31.5% the month before and reflects a drop of more than six percentage points from the peak of 37.3% during Election 2004." Please do the proper research prior to posting absurd and factually incorrect information sir!!
I've always wondered about how the door was left open for the 9/11 attackers, the meetings between Tenant and Cheney in the days just prior to the attack would have shed some light. Is there anything in the Tenant book about the meetings? After getting a taste of Tenants character structure my question has changed to: how does Cheney do it!
Scott- Have you forgotten all the Republicans who thought that we should enter WWII on the Nazi side? Like Lindbergh, McCormack, and Coughlin? Do you know who the Copperheads were?
Bill Wertman, Baltimore, MD - You are funny; however, I think Scott only knows who the "FATHEADS" are, and he supports every last one of them; beginning with George W. Bush and down the line in his criminal Administration!! He never gets it Bill, but kudos to you for trying. I gave up long ago!!
Scott, you should stop using 19th Century logical proofs like quod erat demonstrandum when you do not properly apply them.  I would also remind you that this the following a logical statement: All phones are beige.  All UFOs are beige.  Ergo, all phones are UFOs. --  It is called a syllogism.  The form works with both deductive and inductive logic and was key to Aristotle's formulations about logic which form the basis for legal arguments, mathematics and computer programming.  Scientist Ian Ketterling once said that, "Logic is a way to go wrong with absolute certainty."  The previous syllogism illustrates the problem in reductico ab absurdium (reduction to the absurd) but is does illustrate that logical does not always mean either correct or sensible, QED (used properly I might add as something was DEMONSTRATED with proof not merely RESTATED opinion presented as fact).  Using an outdated proof like QED (or QEF for that matter) when not discussing math proofs or symbolic logic problems makes you sound like an semi-educated pretender.  Oh, wait . . . nevermind.  Carry on.
Your logic is based on false premises, Scott. Whether the United States stays in Iraq or withdraws makes no difference. There will bloodshed in either case...lots of it in either case. The Democrats are simply trying to limit the amount of blood shed by Americans.
I'm still waiting for him to tell me which troops would have to be withrawn -- not the ones protecting US facilities or diplomats, not the ones doing counter-terrorism,and not the ones training and advising Iraqi forces. I haven't seen or heard where he has ever borne arms on behalf the US. At this point we all have to conclude that he has the Yellow Ribbon of Cowardice and Hypocrisy so proudly worn by so many in the Bush Republican party. We also have to conclude that he also has the Karl Rove Truth Medal.
Scott: We have already gone over this and it was noted that if in fact a carnage takes place when and if we withdrawal troops from Iraq, or a carnage takes place in and around Baghdad if we redeploy troops on the borders of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the northern frontier where the Kurds reside and Turkey, that any Dem with balls and leadership ability would accept responsibility for such carnage in order that not one more American life is lost to this chaos in Iraq which we both have agreed is a mess. And we have agreed basically on a redeployment plan on some earlier posts. So why do you keep messing with the folks here who apparently have not read these earlier posts that we shared.
"My logic is sound." Well, that settles it. Hey, Countdown! Someone 'jacked Scott @ Area 51's I.D.!;)
Wow! You learn something new every day! I'll bet their high school reunions are fun!
Notice how at least the "hedgehog" Ron Jeremy, hasn't sprouted a una-brow, or at least he kept it under control if he had one. Too bad George kept whatever "true feelings" he had regarding this screw up in Iraq under control....until now....
Bill from Baltimore:The Copperheads were antiwar Democrats. Not Republicans.Their leader was Democrat congressman Clement Vallandigham of Ohio who was later banished to the South by Lincoln for activities which were considered treason.[but not by Lincoln, who merely wanted a pest out of the way.Through Canada,Vallandigham would eventually make his way back to the North after the 1864 Lincoln presidential victory and was then ignored.].Pass to Lindbergh, and he was no Republican.Nor did he ever infer that the US should come in on the side ''of the Nazis''.By the end of WWII,he passed to the left and stayed there until his 1974 death becoming a chief environmentalist and antiwar critic of Vietnam. His secret 1938 letter to the governments of France and Britain urging them to stay out of war with Germany was penned at the behest of Amb.Joseph Kennedy,a proven Democrat and arch-anti-interventionalist.
WHY has no one asked Mr Tenet where he went after he left his Government Job... WHY has Tenet not even mentioned his NEW Job? Tenet took the fast track from government to the MIC...and that needs to be discussed. Tenet is STILL make millions of dollars off the War in IRAQ....that needs to be discussed. To interview Tenet without discussing that he is now part of the MIC means the interview is nothing more then propoganda. ASK TENET ABOUT HIS NEW JOB....as the only American director on the board of QinetiQ, the British defense research firm that was privatized in 2003 and was, until recently, controlled by the Carlyle Group, the powerful Washington-based private equity fund. Fueled with Carlyle money, QinetiQ acquired four U.S. companies in recent years, including an intelligence contractor, Analex Inc.
Yea High School reunions must be fun. So Ron what do you do for a living? I "(Blank)" People on camera. That's amazing so do I.
