In The Line of Firings:
Who knew -- when he pushed the "No Child Left Behind Act" -- that President George W. Bush was really looking out... for himself. Our fifth story on the Countdown: the President's petulance against Congress, Democrats, and anybody else he sees thwarting his "id," devolving from last week's buffoonish door-slamming, to a level meriting the use of the word "tantrum." It will be the seventh Democratic gathering of this campaign season to use the term "Debate". It comes in the wake of a day of rare unison from the top-tier Democrats... in opposing the confirmation of the Attorney General-nominee... Judge Michael Mukasey... Two days after a second-tier candidate had done the same.
