ABOUT THE NEWS HOLE

It's the new award-winning blog* from the cast and crew of the award-winning television news hour** "Countdown with Keith Olbermann."

We heard about this whole "blogosphere" business from Tom DeLay, and came to the immediate realization that we too, "needed to become involved" in it.

So here it is. Covering the big news, the small news, medium-sized and irregular, The News Hole strives to bring everything you love or hate about Countdown to the internets.

Your feedback and hate mail is encouraged.

I Must Break You

It all ends tomorrow in PA...and there's been no shortage of references to the city of Brotherly Love's greatest pop-cultural icon Rocky Balboa (Sorry Philly Phanatic, Boyz to Men).  The two Senators have evoked the Italian Stallion several times...but it wasn't either of the campaigns that used the epic films as a backdrop for the campaign.  Behold "Baracky"

What a hoot! :)
The man you named worst person last night is in reality John "Bradshaw" Layfield, a WWE wrestler who has endorsed JOhn McCain for president. He became very wealthy picking stocks and is now an businessman in New York while still wrestling. He hosts a syndicated right-wing radio show on Saturday evenings. You picked the right guy, Keep it going, Keith! Love ya!
Greatest short ever made! Never mind that it's dead-on about the outcome of this 2008 Democratic primary.

Obama will win, Clinton get prepared for "BARACKY II' in 2012!
This is pretty funny.  How come she can get away with her statements and accusations and fabrications and some of the media seem to forget it.  Are we ready for a two headed Clinton 'being' to take over at the White House?  Not me.  Excellent Job Keith.  You're head and shoulders over the bulk of the news folks on the air today.

 Good Luck, Sir.  steve ellis
I guess we will know tomorrow if we have to continue this travesty of political double talk into the next century. I for one am voting republican because of Hillary....
Hillary has as her No. 1 supporter and advisor the most popular Dem (or at least until recently) since JFK, and years more face time than Obama.  Why isn't anyone asking why she can't close the deal???
At least the part about Senator Clinton being the heavy-weight is appropriate.  You have a great show, Keith.  Good Luck
Seriously, Pat B needs to STOP. He's talking over people and talking silly.
I'm speechless...who ever came up with this sure had a fantastical mind
funny  how  hiliary accuses obama bout using Karl Rove tactics when that is exactly what she is doing...   girl that is projection!
I can't believe it. Over the weekend there were 36 shootings and 9 deaths in Obama's hometown of Chicago. I think it's time we immediately withdraw all federal funds and programs from this area. In the words of Harry Reid , we lost. Let's get the hell out and save innocent lives. I beg you please, stop this illegal war Mr Obama.
So Hillary wins ... life is good for now.

Somehow I think the Obama craze is starting to fade.
Too bad all this "stuff" about him didn't come out sooner.
Great video but by the time the blogs are actually posted, they're untimely. This isn't even 'Time Well Wasted" (Paisley)
Question for Keith or Rachel - Why are 60% of the Democratic voters of Pennsylvania Female???? Hillary should have had 60% of the vote.  What is the female percentage of Democratic voters in North Carolina and Indiana - that appears to be the determining demographic.
I picked a daffodil on the BUSCH property today.
For a friend-Tom Atkins, a budding Nast.  Too early,
sadly enough.

                     Mo' betta blues
I'm choosing Chicago for the first game at Wrigley,
sadly enough.  I hope I'm wrong.  They seem to have OUR number.
