Obamas Tonight

Posted: Thursday, May 01, 2008 1:16 PM by Countdown

Tune in tonight at 8p ET for our interview with Barack and Michelle Obama (their first together in more than a year). Meredith Vieira conducted the interview for the Today Show, but they were only able to air some of the sit down.  Tonight, we'll air an unaired extended portion that you won't see anywhere else.

Thanks for giving us an opportunity to view this interview this evening.Keith, kudos to you for continually arming us with knowledge that we don't receive from other news media! Keep up the fantastic work...your show is a "can't miss" in our household! :)
The media should report on this article. Obama is too much of a gentleman to bring up Hillary's skeletons in her closet, but the news media should bring it up.

Yes, for some strange reason the Today Show could only spare enough of their precious time to air the part where Meredith Vieira hectored Michelle Obama to make a comment on Rev. Wright when she wanted to talk about more important issues.
I can't wait to see it. Thanks Keith. You & your staff always give us the new that others are afraid to give. Keep up the Great Work!
You are the only one that I really trust to informed the general public of the real facts. Let everyone know about Hillary's lie about the company in Valparaiso plus all the jobs she was not able to provide to her own people in NY.
Thank you Keith & Countdown folks, I look forward to the FULL interview. I agree with nuanced, I guess the Today show was too busy showing summer purse fashions...
Dear Keith, you are our nightly news, out of all the other crap, that think there news sources"""out fox"""     , you tell it like it is, honest , but your trustworthy, an inteligent , that,s so rare, today, right up there with walter k., peter j. etc.  the real news reporters, even on your network, you have several losers, but 8:00 p.m. make.s our evening your one good guy, please don,t let anyone get to your brain luv u 2 senior citzs. an we don,t have senior moments about you , with respect to you, good luck&
Thanks for telling us about this. I watched Meredith today, but am glad there is more. Also, why isnt there more play on the IN metal co that Hillary mischaracterized? And on the Peter Paul trial in LA involving the Clintons? Thanks.
Thanks very much for giving us the opportunity to see the next President and First Lady
Kudos Keith for being one of the only news people that at least gives Sen. Obama a fair chance in this process in which he has led in every catagory except super delegates for months. It seems like most of the news analyst cannot mention Sen. Obama's name without mentioning the word bitter or his former pastor.  The one thing that I don't understand is why they can't get it when they keep hearing people say that they are tired of hearing about Rev. Wright over and over again.  The analyst say but that is a hot story.  It's like no matter what Sen. Obama says they keep saying "Can he get past the controversy? Hmmmm... I guess not if the media keeps the same story going and going.  I will tell you that there are a whole lot of people pissed off at the negative spin that most of media has put on Sen. Obama's chances for the nomination. And by the way, I am one of the disinfranchised Michigander's who Sen. Clinton seems to think she can speak for.  Thanks, Keith for keeping me sane through this political process.
Keith, keep it coming. You are the most honest in news, today. You deserve an NAACP Award for your good and honest work.
Will someone please explain to me why no one gets that Hillary has not jumped on the Wright attack wagon is due to her association with The Family, Rev. Procanik and "God knows who else".  And let's not get into the Peter Paul case. I must have blinked?

Senator Obama and his extraordinarily poised wife, Michelle epitomize what our President and First Lady should reflect...honesty, integrity, and principled.
I don't think Michelle will ever have to worry about the White House interns!
Well done Keith, you are a voice of reason among many who have fallen wayside in the great tradition of honest journalism!
