Tell McClellan it's better late than never and I applaud his courage!!  Thanks Keith, you are (to quote the President) awesome!!
I would like to pick McLellan's brain about the relationship between the White House and Fox "News".  When will folks jump off of their bandwagon and seek out a a credible source of information?
Finally now that someone is ready to speak out against Bush, can we impeach Bush now, finally?  Please!!!!!
I'm a firm believer that, when everything is stripped away from us, whether it be career, home, family, security, friends, position in the community or whatever it may be that we value, all we’ve got is our reputation and our integrity. With that in mind, I suspect Scott McClellan experienced a moment of clarity that ultimately led to this book. It’s hard for me to imagine anyone would write a book putting them in the middle of a firestorm or criticism and scrutiny unless they fully believed in what they were doing, regardless of the financial potential.
Dana Milbank just said in a chat on the WashPost site that the White House vetted McClellan's book. Is this true? If it is, what's all the fake puzzlement for?
The thing that I have noticed through all of this "What Happened" controversy, is that the republicans have not once said, "It's NOT TRUE". They only talk about how "puzzled" they are and how they don't understand why Scott has a problem with this now, why didn't he say anything before, etc. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE. They are admitting that it's true and they don't care. It is the pure arrogance of the entire Bush camp. They admit that Scott McClellan is not lying, by their own reactions. I find this mortifying and troubling and will be so glad when this whole nightmare of a term is over.
Mr. McClellan has done a great service to the American people, by validating our gut intuition over the 'cry wolf' bush policies, that lead the country, in a hysteric frenzy to blindly line up behind the obvious deceit of the American citizens. He opens up a window to view what we sensed was there, thus deflating the illusion of credibility. He has given strength to our voices. We are pandered to for votes, but when policies are to be decided, disregarded as left wing liberal bloggers. The center is changing in America, and the polar extremes are adjusting to the shift in culture.
I hope McClellan's conscience is bothering him and he goes further and answers all the tough questions. Who knew what and when. Who told him to pass on all the lies. Name names!!!
Pictured above, GWB, a great guy, and Judas, the character assassinator.

With the dollar a bit devalued, I hope you got your money in gold.
Congratulations on your new book, Mr. McClellan. Thank you for being brave enough to expose the dishonest and hypocritical actions of George Bush. This is the perfect time for your book to come out. Best wishes for your book to bring you honor.
Finally some one from the BUSH camp with integrity. I didn't think such a person existed. Thank you so much, from me and our great nation for coming forward, oh, and it IS ok to say this administration LIED.
What happened is that somebody guilty of mishearing (or being mislead) corrected their mistake!  What goes down must come up.  Can't wait to hear the interiew tonight.
I'm not sure about the "better late then never" comment. Over 4000 soldiers died because of his, and the other whistleblower's, tardiness.  Imagine if he had spoke up during one of his lying press conferences.  That would have been the act of hero not this coward I see today.
Mr. McClellan only confirms what all of us already know. Bush and his clowns are one of the wrost human beings ( if you call that humans). Mr. Olbermann I wantch your show because I believe you are one of the best on TV!!! Thank you for keeping us informed with the TRUTH!
Thank you for the show.  I hope someone reads this as I have found pictures of Meghan McCain with a "kiffeyah" on her neck and head. It is found at gawker.com or on google image search.  Have a great day!
I'd like to hear Scott's comments on the recollections and reflections of Colin Powell and Richard Clarke - and also any interactions he may have had with them - on the run-up to the Iraqi invasion.
IN LIGHT OF THE REVELATIONS RELEASED IN HIS BOOK, DOES SCOTT McCLELLAN BELIEVE THAT THE PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMPEACHED.
i'm proud of Scott and wish him well
There is something more important then supporting the commander and chief - it's called the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - Maybe Collin Powell should take a lesson from Mr. McClellan and stop protecting the man and stand up for the country - We thank you Mr. Mcclellan and if Texas's doesn't want you there is always room for a man with integrity in my town:)
It would be interesting to hear John Dean's reaction to the book and to McClellan as a recovering (one hopes) authoritarian follower on the White House staff.  There are a number of parallels here to Dean's own experiences with the Nixon presidency.
Not Bush. Cheyney. This is where the impeachment needs to begin. This will force the money to run and hide, and there will have to be another sacrificial lamb. Rove.
P.S.  Given the Bush Administration's propensity for rewarding dissention with termination, it boggles my mind that anyone questions his timing.
Good for Scott for taking a stand!!!  And as for his critics? Well, I think it's pretty obvious that this administration doesn't care for opinions or suggestions. He wouldn't have stood a chance with that bunch of hooligans!
He is speaking the true through his inner source, but people are in shock of his integrity and kind of ah not prepare to accept this truthfulness.
The administration declare that Scott McClellan's comments in his book just don't sound like the Scott McClellan. That's true; they've never heard him tell the truth before.
When you hear not a single denial from the Bush White House we must all be concerned that all the allegations are true and the public was hoodwinked and frighten into a number of very bad circumstances.
I would love to hear Scott McClellan's explanation of how his office let James Dale Guckert AKA Jeff Gannon into the White House press briefings to throw those softballs for him to answer. The WHY of that whole story just has to be entertaining.
Scott,

Has anyone who is or was in the Bush Administration contacted you to support you and provide moral support? I do not expect any names on this question. I just want to believe that there is more than one humanity-minded person controlling this country.
Keith, thank you for asking good questions.
I hope that because of Scott McClellan's long-past due
revelations there will be no more talk of war in Iran. At least nobody will be able to make the excuse that they believed the President this time.
scott,

Everyone of the Bush Administration says it does not sound like you,but none of them says it's not true, glad you are telling the american people the real turth.
Keith:  Fabulous show with Scott McClellan tonight.  Your questions allowed him to get to the heart of what he had to say, instead of (like so many others) focusing only on what the White House had to say in the process of sliming him.
I think that the VP played his boss like a Yamaha piano in the lead-up to the Iraq War. And yes, the President's effort was Messianic. But what was the VP's motivation? Maybe best answered with the question: How much did the stock of the VP's interests, Halliburton, et.al., increase?  Thanks for what you do - enlightened humor. Best, Gloria
You know, Paul O'Neal tried to tell us in his book "Book: The Price of Loyalty" as Scott McClellan is siting in his book 'What Happened'.  How did the media let that go the first time.
Is anyone going to ask Scott about his role in planting that "reporter" in the Press Room? You know: the male escort? Who fed that guy his questions?

Just saw your interview with
Scott McClellan.

You have been had!
I don't understand why everyone is asking "why now?".  Iran is still ahead of us.  Now is the perfect time to learn the lessons of Iraq.
While I do believe that confession is good for the soul, this is honestly too little, too late. McClellan was integral to the campaign to sell the war and I don't think that telling the truth YEARS and LIVES later absolves him of anything.
Don't you find it interesting that although Republicans have called Scott McClellan "disgruntled, a traitor, a turncoat, a weasel, puzzling, not the Scott we knew," none of them have called him a liar.
Keith, if you are ever in the SF Bay Area, I would love to buy you dinner at the best restaurant I can get us into (which gives us great choices).  You are fabulous.
