Senator Webb's Monday night Countdown appearance

Posted: Wednesday, July 02, 2008 12:52 PM by Countdown

Keith mentioned it in last night's show but because Senator Webb's appearance on Monday night's show is being so widely discussed, here's a handy link to the video of that segment so you don't have to go digging through the archives.

Senator McCain would do well to heed the advice of Jim Webb. John McCain's focus on his military service has raised a caution flag in my mind. I can't help but think Senator McCain's judgment is clouded by that experience. It seems to me that his solution to every crisis, is a military response. Perhaps I am wrong but I do doubt the man's judgement no matter how well intentioned he might be.

Limbaugh comments about O'Reilly -

- At dinner the night before, Bill O’Reilly’s name came up, and Limbaugh expressed his opinion of the Fox cable king. He hadn’t been sure at the time that he wanted it on the record. But on second thought, “somebody’s got to say it,” he told me. “The man is Ted Baxter.”

LOL.

Don't you hold the copyright on calling O'Reilly "Ted Baxter", Keith?
Is it possible that the McCain campaign is over sensative about Gen. Clark's perceived ad hominem attack on the significance of McCain's military service because the entire reason d' etre of his candidacy appears to be one big as hominem attack on Sen. Obama?
