ABOUT THE NEWS HOLE

It's the new award-winning blog* from the cast and crew of the award-winning television news hour** "Countdown with Keith Olbermann."

We heard about this whole "blogosphere" business from Tom DeLay, and came to the immediate realization that we too, "needed to become involved" in it.

So here it is. Covering the big news, the small news, medium-sized and irregular, The News Hole strives to bring everything you love or hate about Countdown to the internets.

Your feedback and hate mail is encouraged.

The definitive McCain Iraq timeline

Posted: Wednesday, July 30, 2008 3:41 PM by Countdown

This is sort of a one-item Countdown Supplemental but since the show frequently points out John McCain's wavering position Iraq both historically and in the current campaign this timeline of his positions is especially relevant.

This seems like it would be a great thing to look at, but the link isn't working....
Keith:

I know this is late, but my podcasts got held up.

Thanks for introducing me to Michio Kaku.  I believe that he might actually be the only person that could explain physics to me and make it interesting.  Wikipeda was a great source and his appearance on your show was already listed.

I can count on you for expanding the % of grey matter that I use.
Jon Voight has been writing op-eds in newspapers, the most recent "Obama Falls Short in Every Way."

Voight says that all U.S. enemies endorse Obama, including Castro and Hamas. "That should tell you something." Voight also believes Barack can be easily manipulated by those countries and others, and I agree. It's just common sense.
Keith, you need a break from politics. I know you once were a fan of MST3K. Check this out:

I was wondering when McCain was going to play the race card, Keith.

They've been just waiting (and waiting) for the right moment to accuse Obama of doing this. It was inevitable that they were going to use this lame tactic.

Whether the MSM (known for it's inability to smell BS) buys into it, is now the real question.
I just want to thank Keith and the Countdown staff for providing this essential timeline for McShame's Iraq policies.

I always wanted to know....who has to pick up those pieces of paper after World's Best Persons? otherwise, I'd be glad to apply for that job. Keep up the good work, and let's play ball!
