Excellent news!!
Keith ---

Thank you for another great special comment.
I continue to be impressed with your insight and perspective.  Please continue to keep up the great work.  You often speak as a vanguard of freedom for our country and its principles.
This is well-deserved! Congratulations to Rachel.
Woo Hoo.  We love Rachel!
Rachel: Here's the new name of your show:  "I'M MADDOW AS HELL!"
Your thoughts?

I've enjoyed Dan's show.  Is he still going to be on?
That said, way to go, Rachel.  I know I'll look forward to your show as much as I do Keith's.
Congrats!
Hey Rachel,
We just knew when we spotted Michael Musto eating lunch in an outdoor cafe on Monday that it was a good omen...
though Countdown will have a hard time finding a substitute host that could do a better job than you have done.
Good luck and best wishes -- from your (and Keith's) dedicated fans downtown!  Muzz & Zeke
Congratulations, Rachel!  The first time I saw you sit in for Keith I thought: "Give that woman her own show!"  Glad to know great minds think alike.  LOL!  If you need a band/audience but are low on cash, I'll volunteer to move to NY and kazoo you to commercial as well as laugh, applaud and give shout-outs at the appropriate times...
Keep it it's not registered.
"Mad Maddow World" or just "MaddoWorld"

good for rachel !!!!!!! Keith is one of the best
This is the best news I've heard since the birth of Countdown!  Congrats, Rachel and thank you, Keith!  Finally, 2 solid hours of witty humor meant to entertain and inform.  It feels like Christmas!
Dear Keith, I love your show. Last nights special comment was the bomb. You ROCK!! I am so glad Rachel is getting her own show too!
Rachel show title suggestion:
It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World of News
This is by far the best news show I have watched in along time. I am only sad that I didn,t start watching it soon enough> Keith is GREAT!
Thank you, thank you, thank you and Congratulations to Rachel.  No one deserves this more---what a joy this will be to have her intelligence, wit, personality and incredible knowledge of world affairs on the air--on her own show--every night.
Congratulations Rachel! Any chance you can bring Kent Jones back? Great Special Comment last night Keith. Spot on as usual.
Keith,
I don't know if you had anything to do with Rachel getting her own time slot with msnbc, but if you did I want to personally thank you once again for having your usual brilliant insight. What a great addition to the reporting community.
God Bless America, there is truly still hope.
RACHEL!   I'm thrilled!    Too bad the name "Fresh Air" has been taken because it would definitely fit you!
Congratulations to both Rachel and Keith for unbeatable and right on coverage of the news!  Now I will have two excellent programs to recommend to everyone I know!  MSNBC-TV is adding another winner to its lineup.
Congratulations. Let CNN be content with their Glenn Becks and their Nancy Graces. Exciting news.
Darn, this means I have to start paying the cable bill again.  Congrats Rachel!
Maddow has become a solid anchor.  I liked Dan's show, and will miss it.  But it seems as if everything is on good terms, which is the main thing.  Maddow will do great, though.
I am pleased to hear the news about Rachel.I think she should call her show "The Righteous Sister". TADA
Kudos Rachel and well deserved.  I'm glad you're keeping your radio show, too.  It will be nice to see you nightly on the TV Machine.
Yah!  We love Rachel!  We had XM radio for a while almost exclusively so we could listen to her.

We have loved her since the launch of Air America.  She was such a powerhouse on the original morning show with Chuck D, and someone else whose name is escaping me.

This will be a must watch along with Countdown!

MSNBC, you just doubled the amount of time my family will watch your network.
Keith,  Please, if you would, discuss why Rick Warren ,a pastor, would find it important to ask the candidates to define "rich",and to give an income number? and then when he was on Larry King , Pastor Warren said that there wasn't enough time during his forum to discuss             "poverty"!?!
Rachel’s Realm
Rachel’s Maddow of Honor
Bellow Wryly the antidote to Billo
More Rachel!!  And how about Sam Seder as the host while you are on vacation?
Rachel,
How about "Maddow Knows"? (You know, a play on "The Shadow Knows"?) Just a thought.
Will enjoy seeing Rachel's world view nightly and like her idea of all things political backed up by a live band. A suggestion for her new show's name: "The Beat Goes On with Rachel Maddow."
Congratulations Rachael!!!  My sister and I love watching you and have always said you should have your own show....  Guess we were right!!
Good move MSNBC on giving Rachel her own show.  May she be Stephen Corbert to Keith's Jon Stewart.  Tootles.
Rachel....congrats to your new show....I've got an idea for the name of the show....how about "The R Rating"?  OK....it's corney....can't wait to see you on a regular basis....
When In Discourse of Human Events with Rachel Maddow

Reverberations with Rachel
WOOOHOOO RACHEL!!!  And yet another AWESOME staffing decision by MSNBC/NBC.  I can't WAIT for your first show.  Go get 'em girl!!
Keith:

You were of mixed minds last night, feeling good about Rachel Maddow's signing but fretting that you will have to find a new guest host.

Might I suggest Richard Wolffe?  He would be a fascinating fill-in, when needed, over the next few months, and once David Gregory's "Race To The White House" dies a merciful death on election day, Richard could slip into that slot right away.
Rachel,
You make me so proud! Congratulations from Colorado and hope to see you in Denver next week...meet you under the MSNBC banner, I'll be the the one wearing the RACHEL FOR PRESIDENT T-shirt!

Congrats to Rachel. I know you will do a great job in the 9 pm slot. I just hope my cable provider starts to carry MSNBC right away.
Congrats to Rachel.Looking forward to her show. Also, John McCain is quoted in the current Readers Digest that he is against the draft. I wish he would make up his mind, He is, he isn't, he is, he isn't.........(Isn't that a sign of aging??)
Love your show Keith. Have watched it every night...for years!! Thanks for bringing us Rachel Maddow.
