Both the Hilton and Tire Pressure issues show that McCain is running his campaign based on reactions to statements and policies made by Obama. The Obama campaign has yet to have to attack a policy put forth by the McCain campaign because everyone can see McCain's policies in action in the current White House. Obama has consistantly gone outside the political norms with his policy statements, while McCain can do nothing but try and discredit him instead of putting his own policies at the forefront of his campaign.
