One small problem: Saddam never did anything of the kind. He didn't NEED to support terrorists, he was a big enough bastard for his whole country. The result: MORE terrorists. We went into Iraq to get RID of the terrorists, but somebody apparently misread a memo and set up a terrorist CREATION factory instead of a terrorist REMOVAL facility. So really, Mr. Guiliani has no business declaring that he, the man whose only possible foreign policy experience comes from driving by the U.N., will be the best person to safeguard the United States and her citizens from further terrorist attacks. If the Guiliani policy would be anything like the current "Terrorist Prevention Policies" of the Bush "Administration," we would end up with scenarios like those in this season of 24 - suicide bombers on our buses, suitcase nukes going off in our cities, and an Administration all too happy to round up all those who could possibly be offenders and throw them in internment camps.
