Alberto Gonzales may be as 'stupid' as he admits. As the saying goes: "Show me the company you keep and I'll tell you what you are!" The entire Bush administration is littered with incompetence and stupidity. Spying, Lying and raising the FEAR card is the only way Bush and or Cheney know how to operate. Even Congress fears this Regime of LIARS. Let's NOT forget that the towers fell on the Bush-Cheney watch. Let's NOT forget that innocent Iraqis are paying for 9-11. NOT one-(1) Iraqi was ever involved in that attack on 9-11. America is viewing the worst administration in it's history. Tens of thousand are dead, tens of thousand maimed, billions wasted, lost and or stolen for LIES! Chavez was half right when he said; "Bush is the Devil!" Bush is way too stupid to be the Devil. Bush, Cheney and all those profiting from this war in Iraq are the true disciples of the Devil. Including all those so-called 'BlackWater Mercs' that are raping the American taxpayers. If Congress did it's job; Bush and Cheney would be in Jail today. Americans are viewing the most corrupt administration in our history. Only a true 'fool' will repeat the mistakes of history! The history of the Iraq war is littered with lies, deceit and political trickery. Unfortunately, our Congress hasn't learned one damn thing from the history of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. The entire administration is littered with false and misleading information for war. WAR with a country that posed NO danger to Americans. War with a country that had NO bearing on 9-11. America was attack on 9-11; Iraq was attacked by the Bush-Cheney Regime of Liars-(WHIG).

Yesterday, several Democratic Senators voted to continue this war of lies, deceit and political trickery. Before this War of Deceit in Iraq; our longest-serving Senator, Robert Byrd of West Virginia, stood on the Senate floor and said: "This chamber is, for the most part, silent—ominously, dreadfully silent. There is no debate, no discussion, no attempt to lay out for the nation the pros and cons of this particular war. There is nothing. We stand passively mute in the United States Senate." Why was the Senate silent then and Why is the Senate silent NOW?

Clearly, the Bush administration has lied, spied and tricked the American people into a 'War of Fear' to promote illegal activities and or agendas.

Yesterday, The Senate has 'rejected' any efforts to cut off money for the Deceitful War in Iraq. A War built on Lies deceit and political trickery. A War agenda that has killed tens of thousand innocent men, women and children. Men, Women and children that had NO connection to 9-11. Here are the 19 Democrats that Voted "No"

Baucus, Mont.; Bayh, Ind.; Bingaman, N.M.; Carper, Del.; Casey, Pa.; Conrad, N.D.; Dorgan, N.D.; Landrieu, La.; Levin, Mich.; Lincoln, Ark.; McCaskill, Mo.; Nelson, Fla.; Nelson, Neb.; Pryor, Ark.; Reed, R.I.; Rockefeller, W.Va.; Salazar, Colo.; Tester, Mont.; Webb, Va.

The Congress of these United States 'NO' longer represent the interests of Americans and what exactly America stands for. Voting for this War that was built on Lies, Torturing and Spying on Americans is wrong and that isn't what Americans subscribe to! Tens of thousand have been killed, tens of thousand have been maimed, millions of innocent Iraqis displaced, billions wasted, stolen and or lost.

Sadly, Laws broken, constitution violated and this Congress continues to remain very silent. The lying, spying, torture, killing and maiming will continue while this Congress remains ever so silent to all the lies and political trickery for this war of deceit. Every Americans hould demand honesty and respect for the rule of law.

You don't defend this administration because they are right (as in "correct"). You defend them because they are RIGHT (as in republican). That is why this country is in the mess that it is. The Republican majority in Congress (before the 2006 election) did nothing to stop the out-of-control spending, the illegal wiretapping or standing up and voting against the war (and yes; I do blame many democrats for blindly voting for this war because they were afraid of what their district would do to them at the next election rather than voting their conscience). The only reason some republicans are standing up now for troop withdrawl has nothing to do with their concern for the troops; it's because their political butts are on the line come 2008. Everyone knows that if this was Clinton's war (which, by the way, it NEVER would have been), these republicans wouldn't be able to sign the withdrawl of the troops bill fast enough. I almost always vote Democrat because I believe in gay rights, universal healthcare, putting a stop to global warming and that is what most stand for. I do not, however, defend EVERY SINGLE THING they say or do, like when it comes to some dems who do not believe in gun control or who are against a woman's right to an abortion. I support Chuck Hagel's stance on this war because he is a man of conviction - the republican party be damned. It's refreshing to see someone, who has actually SEEN combat, (which I doubt you have, sir) speak so openly about his opposition to this war. Would I vote for him for president? I would have to actually READ UP on what other ideas he has to lead this country forward rather than just blindly voting for him because he is against the war. Yes; I will only vote for a candidate that is for getting our troops home (by the way; my husband is going over so I know about the sacrafices of war; we have seen many friends die in this unjustified war), but I will also look at the whole picture; not just whether he is democrat or republican.

The Few That Slipped His Mind

That's right, Larry. The actual facts: US Attorneys are routinely dismissed at the start of a NEW administration, but never in the MIDDLE of an administration even if it runs 2 terms. That said, one of the US Attorneys that was on the original list of those to be fired, but kept his job was the Milwaukee, Wisconsin US Attorney - Steven Biskupic. He kept his job because he brought unfounded charges against a long time civil servant, Georgia Thompson, who was in charge of travel for state employees. He he charged her with awarding a contract to Adelman Travel, a company that had donated money to Governor Doyle's campaign. This prosecution was the basis for millions of dollars of ads during the campaign charging Governor Doyle with corruption and misuse of office. Georgia Thompson was immediately sent to prison despite the fact that nearly all convicted individuals are released pending appeal. She served many months of her sentence before the Appeals Court heard her case and ordered her immediate release. The court found that the "evidence" against her was so faulty that they didn't want her to stay in prison pending their written decision. In fact, they found that she had actually followed state law in awarding the travel contract because Adelman Travel was the lowest bidder for the contract. Additionally, US Attorney Biskupic filed the charges against her in a distric over which he had no jurisdiction. Those "Doyle is Corrupt" ads played over and over during the election, but, thankfully, Doyle still won. Biskupic was, not surprisingly, taken off the "to be fired list" and kept his job. Georgia Thompson, thankfully, has been reinstated in her job and received back pay. I think Steven Biskupic should spend some time in prison for unwarranted and illegal prosecution as well as the misuse of HIS government position for political reasons. Then, there would be justice. Until there are real consequences for these partisan prosecutions and activities, they'll just keep on doing them over and over again. There is no hint of any kind of accountability for this blatant political hack. Sad but true.

The Few That Slipped His Mind

Larry

I’m sorry if I’m in the jury, it’s a slam dunk, you lose.

The Few That Slipped His Mind

My, my; illiterate liberals? Who would have thought that was the problem? Does that mean conservatives are literate? And while we are at it, why not define the terms? Has Larry, or anyone who espouses the debate between liberal and conservative become familiar with the Adams vs. Jefferson letters, the writings of Peter Viereck, Montaigne, Henry Adams, and the list goes on. I have had the pleasue of reading them all and I still cannot come up with an adequate definition or clarification. The serving at the pleasure of may mean the executive can dump a person any time, but I really think it means, you serve as the executive's pleasure as long as you are doing your job correctly. Perhaps a constitutional lawyer could clarify that point. And must a liberal or a conservative be so labeled on all issues. My God! I hope not. If so, then our troubles are, indeed, politically devastating. But I find some of the Bush supporters like one of my student teachers. She was so bad that I put her on video tape and told her to watch herself. She refused to believe that it was she on the tape. "I don't sound like that." "My hair isn't like that." At first I thought she was kidding. Finally I realized that she was totally in denial. She didn't do anything wrong. One only had to ask her. So, we have leadership that doesn't do anything wrong, just ask them. Of course they don't like questions. Just a little venting folks but my God, doesn't anyone in a position of responsibility have any shame? Cheers.

Todd - As I posed to Jason Kingman AZ - I believe he needs to see his doctor ASAP and increase his meds. He has either never read your posts, or is too dense to understand them. You have my vote anytime, any day and always!! I thank you for the knowledge and BRILLIANCE you have and continue to bring to these blogs. Larry spews hate and uses "lib" every other word. Larry either can't spell "liberal" or he is just lazy!! Larry thinks this is and insult; and as I posted earlier, in the words of the late James Brown, "Say it loud, I'm LIBERAL and I'm proud"!! If we were to take a poll of the regulars, I believe Larry would be so humiliated he would NEVER post again. He has a bit of an "ego" problem, which is why he relates to George W. Bush so well!! Keep up the great work Todd!!

Oh Larry, your post is riddled with grammatical errors and missing words; not to mention, it's delusional AND hysterical. Jamie smacked you down (and good) by TELLING you her pay raises were much greater during the Clinton Administration - A DEMOCRATIC president!! George W. Bush doesn’t give a damn about the military or he would have NEVER sent them off to a senseless and illegal war without proper equipment. In addition, if the moron cared, those injured in combat would have received proper care when they returned, and NOT sent to a hospital infested with rodents. You are living in another world, another time, another place Larry. Todd has also smacked you down over and over again. Sadly, it's the mentality of those like you and the "Jason's" of the world, filled with hate and intolerance, which is the root of pure EVIL. I truly hope "you know not what you say"!! And the 25% you mention is more than supports this Congress. A few years ago you were begging for higher prices in gasoline , now of course you've changed you tune. Jimmy Carter is the one that rationed gas and had lines miles long. A lib icon he is. If Bill Clinton would have done his job as commander in chief we might have alleviated some of these problems, Instead of ignoring the terrorist attacks on our embassies and the USS Cole he might have done something. Instead he passed it on to the next president. Save his legacy - Blow jobs for all. It's easy to waive the white flag , tough to do what is right and defeat terrorism. Obviously you have a choice, and the liberals choose to pacify and codity terrorism. We choose to confront and try to defeat it. So Doug, take you myths about Clinton to your lib friends and enjoy the conversation, or blow job if you're lucky. Otherwise step aside while we do our job to protect and defend the US

The Few That Slipped His Mind

larry you are an _ss. the president swears to preserve protect and defend the constitution of the united states. he has done the exact oppisite. that is an impeachable offenes far worse then getting a hummer in the oval office. of course clinton haters had to embaras pres.clinton and i think i may have been less then truthful if i was bushwacked into answering questions before a conversation with my wife could take place. i would try to string out my answers until a decision could be made with my wife on how to respond to what personally is no ones damn bussiness. unlike gop liars and conviently being unable to recall details the chickensh_t republicans used that as their way out. clinton faced the music and is still able to carry his head held high anywhere he travels. as for this group of criminals well i doupt they give a damn. they are runnig our country into the ground and it is because of people like you larry that are giving them the false idea that more then 25% of the country feels the way you do. so continue the lies and the blind faith you seem to have in a president many in the world feel is the antichrist, hated more then bin lauden, saddam and all the other evil people in the world. remember larry you are backing the one most in the world considered the worst of all. and i know this won't mean a thing to you and i suppose i may get a scathing rebuttle but larry we are all used to it after 6 years of bush sh_tting on the american people

The Few That Slipped His Mind

It is my belief that Larry from Charleston SC and Jason from Kingsman AZ due to their demeaning views on women have unresolved women issues, maybe their mommies didn't pay attention to them when they were growing up, maybe they been failures all their miserables lives in the relationship with women and they had to resort to the last option left to them,
